Barnum Landmark Random House 1956 Hardcover Very Good Plus Very Good Plus Hardcover Book and Dust Jacket are in Very Good Plus condition with a tight binding and clean crisp pages. Book appears unread! This book also includes a letter from the author that was included to members of the "Young Readers of America" club. Outside cloth covers covers are very nice. Dust Jacket shows some soiling to the back cover and some very minor chipping and is now covered by a new clear mylar cover. This is NOT an ex-library book, but has come from a personal collection. Less common title in the Landmark series. Landmark Books and World Landmark Books are accurate, in-depth stories for young people in the 9-15 year old range. These living histories were written by award-winning authors or by men and women who experienced the events first hand. Written during the 1950's and 1960's and illustrated either with two-color drawings or clear photographs, the books are informative, enjoyable, and well worth reading and collecting. The World's Greatest Showman The Life of P. T. Barnum Landmark Book #64, which is one of the Less Common books in the series. Here is the story of Barnum, a three-dimensional rollicking portrait of a man nobody could fool, but who fooled everybody. Here is P. T. Barnum, the Connecticut Yankee, who became a symbol of that riotous American past, a symbol of Yankee ingenuity, and who was indeed "The World's Greatest Showman". Price:
