Collectible Cloth Cover Book with Dust Jacket in Very Good condition with a tight binding and clean crisp pages. Book is unread and unused. Book Club Edition that has come from a private collection. Dust Jacket is in Good Plus with some minor soiling, chipping and a missing piece of about 1" x 1 1/2" at the bottom of the front cover. condition. Dust Jacket is now covered by a new clear mylar cover. We Were There Books are easy to read and provide exciting, entertaining stories, based upon true historic events. Each story is checked for factual accuracy by an outstanding authority on this particular phase of history. Though written simply enough for young readers, they make interesting reading for boys and girls well into their teens. One of our family's favorite series! Book is in Good to Very Good condition with a tight binding and mostly clean crisp pages. There is a name and address written on the back of the first blank endpaper. There is some minor pen to the picture on the Table of Contents and two small drawings at the bottom of the Table of Contents. Famous Horse Stories edition with the last copyright date showing 1946, but this appears to be an edition from the 1960's. Book has come from a private collection and is NOT ex-library. Outside cloth tweed covers are nice. No Dust Jacket.
