1 Friends and Neighbors Dick & Jane 1941 (World War II)
Gray, William S. & Arbuthnot, May Hill, Illustrate Scott, Foresman and Company 1941 Hardcover Very Good Plus Hardcover
This is a very nice looking copy of a Dick and Jane Reader from the World War II era. This is a 1941 Edition, so think Pearl Harbor. Do not believe this book was ever used by a student. Inside the front cover in the upper left hand corner is a stamp that states "Property of District No. 1, Carlton Co."- underneath that is written "7/24/44 $.69". I am not sure if that is written in pencil, but I did not want to attempt to erase it, as it appears the price of this book in 1944 was 69 cents! Inside text appears to be unread and unused- there is some minor soiling in the upper inside corners of the table of contents. Binding is tight and inside text is crisp and clean. Outside cloth covers are nice with some minor corner wear. Again, this 76 year old classic book appears to be unread and unused.

Streets and Roads Dick and Jane 1946 "Tar Baby Story" Very Nice!, William Gray; May Hill Arbuthnot
2 Streets and Roads Dick and Jane 1946 "Tar Baby Story" Very Nice!
William Gray; May Hill Arbuthnot Scott, Foresman and Company 1946 Hardcover Like New Hardcover
Not sure how you could have a much better looking copy of this book. I am going to guess that this book came from a Scott, Foresman and Company Salesman with the only other option being a Teacher. This book is UNREAD AND UNUSED! Binding is super tight and inside text is super crisp and clean! The only mark in this book is in the upper right hand corner of the first blank end page where it is written OFGF 218 in pencil. The reason I am guessing that this could be a Salesman's copy is that this may have meant "Offered at $2.18". This is written in pencil and could be easily erased, but will leave that to the new owner. Includes the classic "Brother Rabbit and Tar Baby" by Joel Chandler Harris. Outside cloth covers are nice with some very minor corner wear! Again, this 71 year old classic book is unused and unread!
