The Mysterious Voyage of Captain Kidd Landmark #122 LAST Book in Series!, A. B. C. Whipple; Vestal, Herman B. [Illustrator]
2 The Mysterious Voyage of Captain Kidd Landmark #122 LAST Book in Series!
A. B. C. Whipple; Vestal, Herman B. [Illustrator] Random House Childrens Books 1970-06-01 0394904222 / 9780394904221 Library Binding Excellent Library Binding H. B. Vestal
Probably the title you need to complete your 185 book Landmark and World Landmark Set! It is the last book in the Landmark series and it is RARE and Hard to Find! This is a nice book. It is an ex-library book, but it does not appear to have been in circulation. It is from the Dallas Public Library Skyline Branch- I even like the name of the Library! The library markings are restricted to a markings on the first blank end page, a stamp on the main title page, and a book number at the bottom of the dedication page- that is it for inside markings. The internal inside pages are crisp and clean and truly appear to be unread. The outside pictorial front cover has a library number in the upper left hand corner with a Date Due sticker in the bottom right hand corner area. It appears that another small sticker may have been removed above the Due Date sticker, but it did not effect the picture. There is also a library number at the bottom of the outside spine. Besides that the outside covers are nice. Tough book to find and nice one to complete your collection. After selling Landmarks for over 20+ years, I can tell you that these are harder and harder to find!

In that year Peter the Hermit led thousands of men, women, and children in a march to Jerusalem to rescue the Holy Lands from the Moslems. Each of his followers wore a cross as a sign of membership in what was called the First Crusade. In the next 200 years, millions of Europeans headed toward Jerusalem on a series of crusades. Some of the Crusaders kept journals from which we can piece together the full story of there adventures. In the Crusades, Anthony West recounts the extraordinary events of those expeditions. A classic in a wonderful series!
