Very Nice looking copy of this vintage reader! This appears to have been a "Salesman's Copy" as the only marking is a school District stamp inside the front cover and the date 7/24/44 $.69- which would appear to be the price of the book for the District. Also there is no actual printing line in the back of the book. Book appears to have had little, if any, use. Book appears to be unread and unused! Very minor wear inside and outside of the book. 79 year old classic! This is the edition the students would have had during World War II. More Friends and Neighbors Dick and Jane Reader....
